High to low: J > 9 > A > 10 > K > Q > 8 > 7. The gold number is the card's points.
- 1Bid. Each player calls how many points their team will take; the highest call wins the contract.
- 2Hide the trump. The winner picks trump in secret. It stays hidden until someone can't follow suit and asks to see it.
- 3Take the tricks. Follow suit if you can. The highest card, or the highest trump, takes the trick and its points.
- 4Reach +6. Make your call and your team moves up; fall short and it moves down. The first team to +6 wins the match, and a team at −6 loses it.
